Whats our Secret?

The Secret to ArmorGuard Basement Coatings is the advanced science behine our products. Other epoxy, piants and coatings, dry from the bottom up, causing hydration (water, air and metals airing outward) pushing out the new coating that has been applied causing pin holes to appear, and the new coating to delaminate, flake, peel or blister. This is why other coatings FAIL! ArmorGuard Coatings dry from the top down eliminating pin holes and bonding to the surface permantely with a 14,000 psi chemical bond strength, unmatched by other coatings. ArmorGuard coatings were developed as a permanent solution to many different waterproofing problems such as; seawalls, dams, tanks, pools, and basements.

To Pump or Not to Pump

ArmorGuard basement coatings were designed after our pool and tank coatings and are hurricane and flood tested! as a matter in fact ArmorGuard is commonly used to correct problems with pump and drain systems, pump and drain systems only redirect water to a low point in the basement (a Pit) then pumps are used to pump water from these pits to outside area. What happens to the pump when you lose power? what happens when there is more water than the pump can handle? ANSWER - THEY FAIL!

Wearing a Rain-Coat

As far as interior basement sealers/coatings go, most sealers or coatings are made to resist water, not to waterproof, read the label on the buckets. Other sealers/coatings have a high odor requiring you to move out. Rubber membrane coatings not only smell and remain tacky but also out gas leaving you with a potentially dangerous enviornment. Water based coatings break down with water, why would someone waterproof their basement with a product that breaks down in water? you can wear a rain coat, but if it has a hole or wears out overtime, you are going to get WET.
